Admiral of the Humber

Case Study

British Ceramic Tile products were commissioned by KD Paine and Associates for the new JD Wetherspoon establishment, Admiral of the Humber. The exciting new project needed wall and floor tiles for their public bathrooms, as well as for their guest bathrooms within the new upstairs hotel rooms.

For the hotel bathrooms the warm putty colour of the Conran range was chosen cross multiple surface textures to give a contemporary effect, as well as soften an otherwise hard surface. This was further stated in the use of black Metro Classic tiles around the inset of the mirror.

In order to lift the appearance and feel of the pub toilets the linear range of New Brighton tiles were specified. Designed to add a contemporary feel to a room, this design is anything but ordinary. The delicately raised profile sits perfectly alongside the Condo white gloss tile also used in this setting.
