How to tile
Tiling can be a very straightforward and satisfying DIY exercise if proper planning is practiced.
We have included a tiling guide to help you with step-by-step instructions and images to ensure that your finished result is perfect. First of all, measure the area you want to tile. Most field tiles are sold in packs of 1 square metre, so it is fairly simple to work out the number of packs you will require and you can use our tiling calculator to help you do so. This can be found on every product page.
Our tiles are designed to carry a random surface pattern improving the overall effect when fixed. Therefore, it is recommended that sufficient tiles are purchased at one time to complete the job as a degree of shading is intended. We are confident that the tonal quality will be consistent; however, do not fix tiles if you cannot obtain an acceptable blend for any reason. Responsibility cannot be accepted for shading or quality once tiles have been fixed.
